GlycoSeLect announces collaboration with OSB Life Sciences

Dublin-July, 2021

GlycoSeLect is delighted to announce its collaboration with OSB Life Sciences for the supply of their Recombinant Protein Lectins (RPLs) to premier medical institutes, hospitals, researchers, academicians, laboratories, and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry across India.

OSB Life Sciences (a unit of OSB Agencies Pvt. Ltd) is one of India’s leading distributors, with over 25 years of successful track record in providing reliable service and quality products, and has successfully lived up to its mission of “Best services for health”.

Our RPL products exhibit high affinity for a range of glycan epitopes that display terminal galactose and mannose, including high mannose structures, among others. RPL’s affinity for sugars, such as sialic acid and galactose, allow for proteins to be identified and targeted and, therefore, play an important role in glycoprotein profiling. In addition, they have important applications in the biopharmaceutical, diagnostics, research, cosmetics and food industry.

“The GlycoSeLect team is looking forward to working with our friends in OSB Life Sciences as we introduce our RPL products to the exciting Indian market”, commented GlycoSeLect’s CEO, Robert Dunne.
